The Problem
As a result of having suffered one or more traumatic experiences (ACEs - Adverse Childhood Experience), two-thirds of Americans (according to the ACE Study) are prone to responding to perceived threats by fighting, flighting (aka fleeing), or freezing in an attempt to achieve safety – even when there’s no actual threat.
